Sr. Financial Analyst, R&D

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst - R&D who will report to the Director of R&D FP&A. You will have financial planning and analysis experience and display curiosity, proactivity, determination, and accountability.

Your Responsibilities:

• Serve as a finance business partner to several R&D functions, collaborating with FP&A, Accounting, Engineering and Operations teams to track spending, identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actionable insights
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to streamline decision-making and highlight key drivers based on past and current business performance
• Assist the R&D finance team with long range planning, annual budgeting, monthly close and forecasting processes including headcount and discretionary spend
• Provide regular financial reporting accompanied by insights to business partners that communicate trends and financial performance of their teams
• Establish budget controls, maintain and improve forecasting accuracy and processes, while building close partnerships with cross-functional teams

What it takes to catch our eye:

• Experience in finance, analytics, or related quantitative fields
• Prior business unit finance support experience, specifically R&D functions with a focus on Infrastructure
• Ability to work independently, think strategically and able to manage competing priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Gsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and familiarity with BI tools
• Experience with Financial and ERP systems such as Oracle, Workday or Adaptive Planning
• Accuracy with numbers and a standard for excellence
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts

The annual base salary for this position in California and Washington ranges from $99,250 - $120,000. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position in California and Washington, and individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for the annual bonus plan or sales incentive plan and eligibility to participate in our long term equity incentive program.
