Job Description
About the role
As the Sr. Manager of Corporate Development at Revalize, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth objectives through M&A. Reporting directly to the Chief Corporate Development Officer, you will collaborate with senior executives, including our CEO, CFO, Board of Directors, and Private Equity Sponsors, to identify, source, qualify, evaluate, analyze and execute strategic acquisitions that align with our vision and enhance our market leadership position.
Formed in 2021, Revalize has successfully completed 14 acquisitions over the last 3 years. Identifying and acquiring complementary businesses that further enhance Revalize’s market leadership position while unlocking value for our customers, remains a strategic imperative for the company over the next few years. This is a high exposure role, requiring a strategic mindset, as well as exemplary analytical, financial, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Deal sourcing and evaluation: Source, qualify, and analyze potential acquisition targets, assessing their strategic fit and financial viability.
- Pipeline development and management: Manage company deal databases, including target tracking and development.
- Deal execution: Oversee all phases of the transaction process, from initial contact through negotiation and closing, ensuring that deals are executed efficiently and in accordance with Revalize’s strategic priorities. Effectively manage internal resources and external vendors, such as tech, accounting, and legal partners, as needed.
- Financial analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, including valuation modelling and due diligence, to evaluate potential acquisitions and assess their impact on Revalize’s financial and operational performance.
- Stakeholdermanagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between acquisition strategies and business objectives, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate seamless integration post-acquisition.
- Communication and reporting: Prepare and present clear and compelling investment cases and recommendations to our senior executives and Board of Directors, effectively communicating the strategic rationale behind proposed acquisitions.
- Business development: Build and grow relationships with bankers and other external parties to support business development efforts.
- M&A strategy development: Support the formulation and execution of Revalize’s M&A strategy, enhancing our ability to identify opportunities that align with our long-term objectives, by working with our Product, CS, GTM, and Delivery teams to understand their roadmaps and needs to help inform deal sourcing and priorities.
- Market research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to inform decision-making and identify potential acquisition targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years of corporate development, investment banking, private equity, and/or management consulting experience, with a preference for candidates with technology/software experience.
- Advanced financial analysis: A strong command of valuation methodologies, accounting principles, and Excel modelling, with ability to define and execute key analyses with minimal supervision.
- Analytical skills: Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with a proven ability to conduct complex financial analysis and distil findings into actionable insights.
- Communication skills: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to senior executives and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Project management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Results orientation: Results-driven and detail-oriented, with a track record of delivering high-quality work products on time.
