As a member of the T1D Exchange Quality Improvement and Population Health Team, you will join an innovative team of experts using big data and quality improvement methodology to advance diabetes care. This position can be 100% remote within the United States or hybrid in the Boston, MA area.
Job Responsibilities:
Support clinical quality improvement projects and initiatives, which may include collaborating with providers and other care team members to improve workflows that impact quality performance:
- Support clinical teams using quality improvement (QI) tools and methodology
- Predict and identify barriers to project implementation, develop strategies to address them, and support completion.
- Establish strong working relationships with the teams to improve performance.
- Facilitate QI meetings, and committee meetings with clinical teams
- Create and update QI performance dashboards.
- Analyze data and develop run/control charts to demonstrate improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and drive health equity initiatives
- Assist in the preparation of manuscripts and abstracts for presentation at scientific conferences
- Other duties as assigned
Serve as coordinator for special projects and industry-funded initiatives:
- Provide staff support for meetings, committees, special projects, and conferences
- Manage execution of assigned projects
- Develop project reports
Manages project timelines, agenda development, minutes and documents, slide decks, and preparation of reports on project status and activities for various audiences
Demonstrates the ability to write concise, informative reports and QI change packages
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree with three years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred
- IHI Certificate in Quality, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or CPHQ certification will be an advantage
- Must be highly motivated and mission-driven, with a strong commitment to advancing health equity
- Proficient in the use of appropriate data analytic techniques to analyze and display quality improvement data
- Self-motivated and demonstrate excellent judgment in problem-solving when developing daily work priorities
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment and a multi-dimensional environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools/ software
- Above all, the candidate must continuously improve and contribute to the team's overall objectives
The annual salary range for this position $65,000 to $80,000; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, medical, dental, vision, 401k with a safe harbor match. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a few factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal equity.
