About the role
LifeMD is looking for an Accountant that has strong analytical skills that can participate in monthly close and daily reconciliation of various accounts. The position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities
- Monthly Close- Assist in closing the monthly financials, mainly pertaining to , but not limited to Revenue, Cash and Accounts Receivable
- Account reconciliation- reconciling the bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
- Financial Systems- Participate in select aspects of key projects concerning financial systems including implementations and enhancements
- Booking of daily credit card transactions and bank deposits into correlating accounts
- Audit- Assist in the completion of relevant quarterly audit activities
- Verify third-party reporting statements from partner merchants
- Special Projects- Participate in special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager and controller
Requirements
- 2-4 years of general accounting experience
- High energy, self starter that is intellectually curious and a team player
- Strong fundamental knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition, billing and cash reconciliation.
- Strong Excel and technical skill is required.
- Knowledge of Netsuite or similar ERP system is required
