Job Summary

The Business Relationship Management team serves as the bridge between the technology organization and TriNet business leaders. Business Relationship Managers facilitate partnerships that enable the company’s strategic objectives. This position builds strong relationships with business and technology colleagues to strengthen the intersection between technology and business outcomes. Business Relationship Managers work with business partners to understand critical business functions, identify improvement opportunities, and partner with appropriate teams to implement solutions - with a focus on improving client experience, increasing colleague engagement, and decreasing cost-to-serve expenses.

The Staff Business Relationship Manager engages with internal colleagues to analyze business processes, identify potential workflow improvements, and work with technology partners to design and implement solutions. This position views business processes from an overall organization perspective, ensuring technology solutions are implemented from an enterprise perspective. The Staff Business Relationship Manager is well versed in business processes throughout the organization and serves as a trusted advisor to executive leaders. This position proactively brings improvement ideas to executive leaders for consideration and review, with a particular focus on large scale, enterprise level improvement opportunities. The Staff Business Relationship Manager stays abreast of external best practices to ensure recommended technology solutions and process change recommendations are aligned with industry best-of-class innovations.

We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in data and analytics. Areas of expertise include data cleansing and preparation, data exploration and analysis, data visualization, and reporting. This role will work with business stakeholders to address their strategic objectives via artificial intelligence, machine learning, data lakes, data warehouses and analytics solutions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Engage with business colleagues and executive leadership to understand existing business priorities, processes, and pain points.
• Align business knowledge with technology solution expertise to identify workflow improvements that benefit the organization.
• Build collaborative relationships with Technology and business colleagues, with a focus on executive leader relationships.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders to influence change and drive business process improvements.
• Assess business impact potential of proposed changes/improvements to help prioritize work requests, with an eye on overall organizational impact, opportunities for cross-departmental implementation, and financial savings.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives, and apply data and analytics solutions to meet the objectives.
• Conduct financial and timeline analysis of improvement opportunities, focusing on ROI and make recommendations on prioritization against competing priorities.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and present improvement ideas to executive leaders for consideration and review, with a particular focus on large scale, enterprise level improvement opportunities.
• Stay abreast of external best practices to ensure recommended technology solutions and process change recommendations are aligned with industry best-of-class innovations.
• Lead as a central communication liaison between the Global Technology Organization and business unit colleagues, with particular focus on communications with executive leadership.
• Execute to BRM standardized processes for requirements gathering, business process documentation, impact evaluation, technology solution feasibility analysis, communication protocols, training, and project execution.
• Analyze BRM standardized processes for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Serve as a mentor and coach to other BRM colleagues.

Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Typically 8+ years

Work Experience

• Expertise in data and analytics, including experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics solutions.
• Expert verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently and carry out assignments expected of job level and coordinate assignments for less experienced team members
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills and ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization, with particular skill in communicating with executive leadership
• Expert ability to influence decision makers and execute to change management with internal colleagues and external partners
• Expert ability in translating technology solution benefits to non-Technology colleagues, particularly to executive leadership
• Ability to interpret and document requirements, create impact presentations and facilitate meetings with executive stakeholders
• Advanced knowledge of PEO industry applications and data
• Demonstrated commitment to core values and high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace
• Expert ability and aptitude in logical and analytical thinking, and problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing competing priorities
• Ability to listen to business concerns, show empathy and resolve highly complex issues in a diplomatic fashion
• Expert ability to mentor and coach colleagues

Minimal travel required

The salary range for this role is $85,500 to $205,200. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
