Position Title: Strategic Account Manager

Location: Melbourne/Sydney

Position Overview

We have been in the industrial adhesives business for more than 130 years and we have a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven and results-orientedStrategic Account Manager. You will be joining our dynamic commercial team in Australia and reportdirectly to the Business Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

You will grow and execute strategic sales objectives and develop sales funnel for business opportunities within HB Fuller’s Key customer segments.

  • Develop and leverage connections within the prospective markets served.

  • Develop and present value propositions to customers that respond to identified customer needs.

  • Play an active role in developing and executing integrated sales plans that exceed targets.

  • Responsible for translating customer priorities into a synergy roadmap.

  • Co-create new business opportunities and tailor value add solutions for customers.

  • Develop, own, and steer the deployment of growth and manage strategies for the territory-assigned account portfolio.

  • Be the customer expert, influence GBU strategy and business plan as well as Innovation and marketing plan by contributing with customer insights.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experienced in B2B industrial sales.

  • Experienced in strategic planning and business development.

  • Strong value-added selling skills, negotiation, and able to transform insight into action.

  • Must have passion, determination, and the ability to think outside the box.

  • Must be willing to travel regularly within Australia.

  • Demonstrated experience in customer engagement at senior levels and building long-term connections.

  • Ability to build relationship and proposal strategies, account, and sales plans.
