TalenTailors is searching for a highly skilled Streaming Automation Developer to become a valuable member of our customer's team. You will have the incredible opportunity to take ownership of various topics that span across both Development and Operations. This includes enhancing the monitoring capabilities of our 20 node.js services, automating common service requirements such as custom horizontal pod autoscaling, and creating centralized cluster control components.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement exciting new features and functionality related to streaming on our NodeJS stack.
- Write and enhance tests, including building an innovative stream analyzer.
- Introduce and explore new tools and technologies.
- Contribute to code reviews (all our developers actively participate in code reviews).
- Participate in collaborative design and architecture reviews.
- Troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for improvements.
Requirements
You are a confident, logical, and methodical professional with experience in the following technologies:
- Node.js, and optionally Golang, React.js
- Clean code and continuous integration ensured through tools like eslint, prettier, husky, gitlabci, docker, strict MR workflow, and automated versioning
- Expertise in adaptive streaming technologies like HLS and DASH using tools like ffprobe and ffmpeg
- Continuous delivery pipeline ensured using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform+Helm, and Gitlab
- Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and Victoria Metrics
