Job Description
We are looking for a sustainability enthusiast recently graduated (in sustainability/environmental sciences, business administration, economics, sustainable tourism, or related fields) to join our team as an intern but a work permit is required
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in implementing an ESG strategy within a multinational company across multiple countries and departments in the travel technology industry while contributing to our company's mission to promote responsible travel.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of cross-functional sustainability initiatives (e.g. Diversity & inclusion initiatives, Volunteering and Social impact activities in collaboration with local communities)
Contribute to the collection, storage and validation of content and data for the preparation of non-financial information reports in accordance with applicable regulations (e.g. Swiss RBI, CSRD, TCFD).
Support in the analysis and monitoring of key sustainability indicators
Provide general support in day-to-day tasks and assignments to facilitate the objectives set by the Sustainability and Public Affairs department.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field (candidates currently pursuing a degree will be considered)
Full proficiency in English.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage with diverse stakeholders
Willingness to learn on-the-job
Proactivity, adaptability, and a passion for driving positive change
Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., CSRD, GRI, CDP) is a plus
Any previous work experience in the OTA field or in the Sustainability area would be considered a plus
