- Analyse external specifications and derive modem dataplane requirements
- Define cellular modem hardware and software architecture for dataplane
- Deliver documentation for hardware and software design and verification
- Model packet processing chain and estimate performance
- Collaborate closely with algorithm, firmware, hardware and software teams
- Provide technical guidance to development teams
- Agree on requirements with customers and external stakeholders
- Support verification and certification activities
- Master’s degree in Communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer science or related engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cellular modem development or system engineering
- Profound understanding of 5G and 4G standardization in 3GPP with focus on layer 2 standards
- Background on cellular modem architecture from end-to-end
- Understanding of datapath realization and packet processing in hardware and software
- Familiar with simulation environments
- Experienced team player with good communication and leadership skills
- Excellent English skills
