Day in the life:

As part of our Talent Acquisition team, this role will provide recruiting services to several manufacturing or distribution sites. The Talent Acquisition Partner will work closely with manufacturing HR Business Partners, plant leadership and front-line supervisors to manage the full life cycle recruiting for non-exempt positions. The Talent Acquisition Parter II will develop and executes tactics to source and select the best talent in the market. The TA Partner II will ensure a best-in-class experience for both candidates and customers.

This role will ideally be located in Central or Pacific Time Zones to support locations on the West Coast.

What you'll do:

• Manage a high-volume requisition load primarily consisting of non-exempt and exempt, technical and non-technical, and management positions in a manufacturing environment.
• Partners with HR and hiring managers, develops an understanding of assigned positions and manufacturing departments. Identify required skills, experience, and competencies, as well as other intangible job profile preferences.
• Identifies sourcing channels to generate talent for talent needs. Develop a network of potential candidates or referral sources and uses internet search techniques to identify and engage potential talent.
• Develop external relationships to create talent pipelines for difficult to fill roles.
• Serve as company liaison to candidates, presenting a positive and compelling company image
• Participates in projects within the Talent Acquisition department. Supports programs that enable hiring successes for assigned requisitions and long-term talent needs for the business.
• Partners with HR and management to understand future workforce needs and establish a plan to meet hiring projections.
• Proactively manages all phases of the recruiting process to facilitate quality hires within the needed timeframes. Organizes and influences interview teams to make the best hiring decisions, in a timely manner.

Education Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

• Minimum of 4+ years of recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for non-exempt, exempt and managerial roles within a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
• Experience handling high volume recruiting for multi-locations
• Sourcing experience using online and offline channels: internet job boards, social media, Boolean searches, community outreach, school and military partnerships, and employee referral sourcing, etc.
• Experience with an applicant tracking systems required, Successfactors preferred.
• Training and experience using behavioral based interview methodologies required.
• Experience using skill and knowledge assessments required.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of equal opportunity legislation and diversity and inclusion employment practices in region. AAP/OFCCP compliance preferred (US).
• Ability to Influence decisions and engage in change management in a consultative manner.
• Keeping the pulse on the Labor Market and keeping the greater TA team informed

What STERIS offers you:

Pay range for this opportunity is $58,250.00 - $81,637.50. This position is eligible for [BONUS PARTICIPATION] OR a [INSERT COMMISSION RATE RANGE, IF APPLICABLE] commission.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability. Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
