    About this role

    About Huzzle

At Huzzle, we connect high-performing professionals with global companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Our clients include startups, digital agencies, and tech platforms in industries like SaaS, MarTech, FinTech, and EdTech. We match top talent to full-time remote roles where they’re hired directly into client teams and provided ongoing support by Huzzle.

    Role Type: Full-time

    About the company

Our client is an FDA-registered and ISO 17025 accredited independent contract microbiology laboratory providing critical testing services across a diverse range of sectors, including pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetic, and food industries. As a recognized authority in microbial analysis, the team specializes in product efficacy, safety screening, and research-driven identification. They utilize advanced methodologies to help global brands verify marketing claims and ensure regulatory compliance through rigorous ASTM, AOAC, and USP standard testing.

    Job Summary

We are seeking a technically-minded Marketing & Content Specialist to bridge the gap between complex science and high-performing B2B marketing. In this role, you will be the voice of a leading laboratory, translating sophisticated microbiological and regulatory concepts into clear, credible content that resonates with QA Managers, R&D professionals, and Regulatory Affairs specialists. You won't just be writing; you will be the engine behind our HubSpot ecosystem, driving lead generation through email marketing, sales enablement, and database reactivation. This is a role for a doer who thrives on technical curiosity and precision.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Interview internal microbiologists and subject matter experts (SMEs) to extract technical insights for content creation.

    • Write and produce high-quality technical white papers, blog posts, case studies, and sales collateral.

    • Manage and execute the HubSpot Marketing Hub strategy, including workflows, landing pages, list segmentation, and automated email campaigns.

    • Lead database reactivation efforts to re-engage past leads and dormant accounts.

    • Collaborate with an external SEO and PPC agency to align content creation with technical search strategies and campaign goals.

    • Ensure all marketing materials remain compliant with industry regulations and strictly adhere to supported scientific claims.

    • Deliver sales enablement tools that help the commercial team better communicate the value of accredited laboratory services.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience within Life Sciences, Laboratory Services, Industrial, or highly regulated sectors.

    • Proven technical writing ability with a portfolio that demonstrates an ability to simplify complex topics without losing scientific accuracy.

    • High proficiency in HubSpot Marketing Hub (Workflows, Landing Pages, Lists, and Email Marketing).

    • Experience interviewing technical experts and translating findings into professional marketing assets.

    • Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and the ability to work effectively alongside a specialized agency.

    • Professional-level written and spoken English with extreme attention to detail.

    • A "hands-on" execution mindset; you are comfortable building and launching campaigns yourself, not just managing strategy.

    • Availability for at least 4 hours of daily overlap with US Central Time (CST).

    Nice-to-Haves

    • A degree in Science, Life Sciences, or Microbiology.

    • Experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device marketing.

    • Proficiency in visual tools such as Canva or Figma.

    • Basic short-form video editing skills.

    • Experience with GA4 and Google Search Console.

    • Past experience marketing accredited services (ISO, etc.).
