About the CompanyThis company is a fast-moving programmatic advertising company serving agency and advertiser partners. The team places a strong emphasis on culture, leadership described wanting people who buy into the bigger picture, enjoy the work, and can handle a demanding environment while being rewarded with growth opportunities in an evolving product and market. About the RoleAs a Technical Account Manager, this person will help agency and advertiser partners successfully plan, activate, and grow their programmatic advertising through the platform. This is a hybrid role — roughly 60% technical support, 40% client ownership — combining deep programmatic and platform expertise with account management, strategic consultancy, and commercial responsibility. While the stronger weighting is on technical/programmatic depth, client-facing polish still matters, since technical elements come up directly on client calls. The person will own a portfolio of roughly 20–60 agency accounts, representing a broader book of up to ~150 individual advertiser accounts, supported by a structure of growth account managers and heavy internal automation — so it's not a one-to-one management load. They'll act as clients' technical and programmatic advisor, supporting campaign performance, troubleshooting, and growth, while working across DSPs, SSPs, and multiple media formats — and helping clients understand how programmatic fits within the wider digital ecosystem, including Microsoft Advertising, TikTok, Google Ads, and Meta. Responsabilities
Own a portfolio of agency accounts and act as their primary technical and programmatic advisor.
Build data-driven media plans aligned to client KPIs, audiences, measurement requirements, and campaign objectives.
Support campaign setup, tracking, monitoring, and optimisation; troubleshoot targeting, bidding, pacing, inventory, and delivery issues.
Manage and troubleshoot deal structures across PMP, PG, Private Marketplace/Preferred Deals, and Open Auction.
Ensure proper tracking/measurement is in place, analyse performance, and recommend improvements.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the agency portfolio (e.g., introducing Microsoft Advertising, TikTok, or programmatic products to clients not yet using them, or expanding within an existing client). This is a nice-to-have, not a disqualifier
Lead campaign reviews, training, and platform adoption with clients.
Requirements
Strong operational understanding of DSPs, SSPs, auction mechanics (real-time bidding), and deal structures — this is considered fundamental; a candidate who doesn't understand these shouldn't be considered qualified.
Hands-on experience with at least two major DSPs from: StackAdapt, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, DV360, or Yahoo DSP. Experience with other/obscure DSPs is also welcomed as it brings a different perspective — this requirement is a strong preference, not a hard screening cutoff.
Experience across Display, Native, Video, CTV, Audio, DOOH, and B2B.
Good practical understanding of tracking pixels, attribution, and campaign measurement — called out as a core hard skill.
High English proficiency for client-facing conversations; a noticeable accent is fine as long as proficiency is strong.
Comfortable managing a high volume of accounts simultaneously (worth probing in interviews — how candidates organize and prioritize).
Tools
DSPs: StackAdapt, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, DV360, Yahoo DSP
Wider ecosystem knowledge: Microsoft Advertising, TikTok (working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta)
Attribution/measurement tools: Google Analytics/GA4 and equivalent tracking & measurement platforms (Diginius to confirm the specific brand list)
Nice to Haves
Strategic consultancy skills / broader commercial acumen — leadership flagged this as closer to a "unicorn" trait and said it can be downplayed rather than treated as a gate.
Natural upsell/cross-sell instinct — helpful but trainable; not required at hire.
Cultural fit: someone who engages with the bigger picture and enjoys a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Benefits
Salary: $2,500 – $3,750 montly
