We’re looking for a Technical Senior Manager to support our Cloud Services team.
This can be a remote position (must be located in the United States).

What You'll Do

  • Serve as Solution Architect and technical lead for client projects
  • Support thought leadership activities (blog/white papers/webinars)
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Track and understand clients' evolving needs
  • People manager for multiple engineers
  • Work with other departments to determine technical and compliance solutions and implementations

What You'll Bring

  • Experience managing teams of 4-8 individuals
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective documentation skills, to include technical diagrams and written descriptions
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • 3-5 years directly supporting at least one of the following cloud IaaS providers: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Experience with orchestration and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Critical thinking, and ability to balance security requirements with mission needs
  • Exampled relationship management and ability to work with C-Suite
  • Project management experience for individual and team projects (ability to track detailed tasks and ensure timely delivery)
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment
  • BS or above in related Information Technology field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Bonus Points

  • Previous experience mentoring or managing consultants or engineers in a professional services organization
  • Cloud-based networking experience (Palo Alto, Cisco ASAv, etc.…)
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC, HITRUST, etc.
  • Familiarity with configuration baseline standards such as CIS Benchmarks & DISA STIG

At Coalfire, equal opportunity and pay equity is integral to the way we do business. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role is $94,000 to $163,000 based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
