Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Temporary People Operations Lead to join our dynamic People & Culture team. Expected to last 12-18 months, this role will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of people operations, ensuring that our HR processes and practices align with our business objectives and support our employees’ needs. The successful candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
As a Temporary People Operations Lead, you will:
- HR Operations Management: Assist in overseeing the day-to-day people and culture operations, including systems administration, data integration for acquisitions, new systems implementations, and more.
- Talent Acquisition Support: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding processes from a systems perspective.
- Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms from a systems perspective.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Change Management: Lead and support HR initiatives and projects that drive organizational change and improvement.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems and data management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
We'd prefer if you bring:
- Experience in a professional services firm or similar environment.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience with change management and organizational development initiatives.

The salary range for this position is $74,600 to $130,000 on an annualized basis. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
