    About this role

    Position Overview

     

    dormakaba is seeking a driven and customer-focused Territory Sales Representative to support growth and profitability across the Northeast Territory for our dormakaba business groups, including Avant Garde and Alvarado. This outside sales role will focus on developing and executing sales strategies across B2B and B2C channels, building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering solutions that create long-term value for customers and the organization.

     

    HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $95,000 - $115,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)     What you will do

    • Develop and execute territory and account plans to drive growth and effectively manage assigned accounts

    • Collaborate with internal sales teams by participating in customer meetings both on-site and to identify opportunities and strengthen client relationships

    • Partner with cross-functional teams to secure planned maintenance agreements following new product installations

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account updates within CRM systems

    • Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates to management to support business planning and performance tracking

    • Maintain in-depth technical product knowledge while monitoring industry trends and market developments to identify new business opportunities

     

    What we require

    • 5+ years of industry experience with a strong background in commercial construction, building materials, and solution-based sales

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent

    • Proven success selling construction products and services to end users while building relationships with architects, general contractors, and key project stakeholders

    • Experienced in managing sales territories, developing customer accounts, and utilizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot to track opportunities and maintain accurate sales activity records

    • Willing and able to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory to support customer meetings, jobsite visits, and business development activities
