About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Third-Party Risk Manager to join our Supplier Management team to ensure efficient and comprehensive management of supplier risks, while monitoring adherence to broader enterprise and regulatory risk frameworks.

In this diverse and exciting role, you will assist the Operations Director and the Procurement Team in transforming the Third-Party Risk Management (“TPRM”) framework and rolling this out across the organisation & our supply base. You will also form effective relationships across all teams at all levels within the organisation & with vendors as you guide them through the TPRM framework and communicate 10x’s supplier risk exposure.

The right person will have experience in any combination of supplier risk and assurance management, operational risk management and/or Information security risk management, preferably in a regulated, fast paced and dynamic environment.

As 10x’s Supplier Risk Manager...

  • You’ll make a significant contribution to the development and enhancement of the third-party risk management framework and associated processes in line with good industry practice.
  • You’ll support a broad range of business teams by executing third party risk management due diligence processes (e.g risk assessment, issuing DDQs, reviewing third party due diligence responses and artefacts such as certifications and accreditations, audit reports, policies, etc) to assess control adequacy for maintaining resilience, security and data privacy
  • You’ll be the point of contact for all audit related requirement controls, such as SOC2, ISO etc. And our client assessments.
  • As a cloud-first business delivering a technology platform, a heavy focus will be on technology and cloud-based service arrangements, but the scope will span other third-party services.
  • You’ll also support colleagues by providing specialist third party risk management support into ongoing third-party management activity ranging from service reviews, exit planning & management.
  • You’ll support business teams with the identification, remediation and reporting of risk events arising from the use of third parties.
  • You’ll create and present high-quality reporting addressing third party risk and control adequacy (e.g due diligence assurance reports, management information for senior management and board-level oversight, etc).
  • You’ll also play a key role in evaluating, configuring and implementing a technology solution to meet business objectives for third party risk management.
  • It’s an exciting challenge and a varied role since responsibilities will span the entire third-party management lifecycle from onboarding new third parties to managing existing arrangements until renewal or exit.

Requirements

Ideally you will have…

  • Proven operational and third-party risk management experience
  • Knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements (PRA, EBA, FCA etc.)
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management processes, languages, tools and systems
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Clear communication, effective assimilation and analysis of information
  • Good understanding of relevant risk standards/models/terms
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong attention to detail
