The Trade Spend Manager is responsible for overseeing trade budgets, driving promotional effectiveness, and collaborating with key departments to ensure trade dollars are spent wisely. You will work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations to align trade activities with the overall business strategy and ensure promotions deliver maximum ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Trade Spend Budgets: Oversee and track trade and promotional dollars across REBBL, Chameleon, and Humm, ensuring alignment with business objectives and budget compliance.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute trade promotion plans that enhance product visibility, drive sales, and optimize pricing strategies.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate trade spend and promotion effectiveness, performing post-promotion analytics to assess ROI and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Optimize Trade Investment: Identify opportunities to improve trade spend efficiency, recommending adjustments to maximize ROI.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales managers, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth promotional execution and compliance.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate trade spending forecasts and maintain records in trade management systems. Track actual spend vs. budget.
- Customer Relations: Collaborate with key customers to create joint business plans and promotional programs that drive mutual growth.
- Compliance: Ensure trade spending complies with company policies and is properly documented.

Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Proven experience in trade spend management, sales planning, or account management.
- Experience with Trade Promotion Management (TPM) software and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and brands simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the natural or functional beverage industry is a plus.
