Job Description

Who we are:

At Tobii Dynavox, we empower people with disabilities to do what they once did or never thought possible. We call this mission Power to Be You. Our assistive communication technology helps our customers express themselves, connect with the world, and pursue independence, whether through everyday activities like ordering food or extraordinary feats like running a company. Working at Tobii Dynavox, you’ll become part of a team that spans the globe, with offices in the US, Sweden, France, the UK, China, and beyond.

To learn more about what we make possible, meet some of our customers or take a look at some of our products.

What you’ll do:

Around 50 million people across the world have conditions that leave them without a voice. Most aren’t aware that communication technology like ours exists. Our Sales and Business Development Team works to close that gap by building relationships that broaden our reach.

We are seeking a proactive, resourceful and highly organised Training and Events Coordinator to join our team for a period of 12 months. In this role, you will manage and coordinate all our training and event activities, playing a key part in helping us deliver essential support to schools, clinicians, and other key stakeholders. Though primarily remote, this role involves regular travel within the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Events Support: Organise and oversee virtual and in-person meetings about key topics within the AAC space, ensuring that all logistics and settings are in place for successful events.

  • Coordinate Biweekly Webinars: You’ll be responsible for scheduling, inviting participants, and ensuring that these webinars run smoothly.

  • Resource Management: Work on the Snap for Schools project by assessing and creating resources for loan devices used in education settings.

  • Timely Invoicing: Ensure all event-related invoices are processed and paid on time.

  • Content Development: Make sure we’re covering relevant topics that align with our goals and mission, particularly around assistive communication technology.

Why This Role Is for You:

  • Remote Flexibility: Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely while still engaging face-to-face with colleagues and partners across the UK and Ireland.

  • Travel Opportunities: Explore the UK and Ireland as you travel to various training and events.

  • Supportive Team: Join a supportive and global team committed to making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

  • Development & Training: We’ll provide you with the tools you need, including training on our Salesforce system. You will also have a chance to collaborate with our Solution Consultants!

What You Bring:

  • Background in AAC/SLT or Occupational Therapy: A foundational understanding of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and speech-language therapy (SLT) is essential.

  • Organisation & Autonomy: You’ll need to be highly organised, able to manage multiple events and tasks independently with a high standard of quality.

  • Facilitation Skills: Confident in presenting and delivering engaging training sessions both virtual and in-person.

  • Driver’s License: Regular travel within the UK and Ireland is part of this role, so a valid driver’s license is essential.

  • Communication skills: Full proficiency in English (both written and verbal) and networking skills to build credibility and trust with customers.

  • Tech-Savvy & Adaptable: Understanding of online meeting platforms is preferred. Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus, though we will provide training.

We look for potential! We encourage you to apply even if you are not an expert in all skills listed. If you’re clinical professional who is passionate about making a difference and can work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with team members, we’d love to hear from you!

What We Offer:

At Tobii Dynavox, we are a multi-cultural and decentralised organisation. Our continuous ambition is to foster a collaborative culture where roles are clear, teamwork is prioritised, views are respected, communication is clear, tools are effective, and data informs decisions.

Our team enjoys a range of benefits supporting personal well-being and professional growth. We provide car allowance and mileage reimbursement for your business-related travels on top of home office support.

Please Note: this is a full-time 12-month contract, and while we cannot guarantee a permanent role at this time, we’re growing rapidly and investing in our future!

How to Apply:

To apply, submit your resume (in English) or LinkedIn profile through our website. We look forward to your application! If you have questions about the role, please reach out to us at [email protected].
