About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Lead to join the Stitch Fix Transportation team. As the Operations Lead, you will serve as the liaison between carrier & warehouse operational teams and will work cross functionally to execute strategic initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with 3PL, carriers and warehouse teams to resolve carrier related issues for inbound transportation from vendors
  • Act as point for inbound transportation communication to resolve vendor-carrier issues
  • Review metrics and drive carrier improvement in performances (ex. On Time Delivery) through weekly business reviews
  • Ability to perform ad hoc analysis using data visualization software and excel to optimize transportation costs
  • Utilize problem solving skills to identify transportation related challenges, evaluate and size potential solutions, and make data driven recommendations to improve process and manage costs
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, both internal and external, to align objectives
  • Support operational projects from conception through implementation
  • Travel to warehouse to support project roll outs or new initiatives

  • You have 3-5 years of work experience in Operations/Logistics
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication and can clearly and concisely present information in an engaging way to partners
  • You have strong Excel skills; experience with Looker & SQL a plus
  • You’re savvy at leveraging data in your analysis and decision-making and are an expert in analyzing and working with large amounts of data. You have great attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage/prioritize multiple projects
  • No task is too big or too small and you are willing to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty to get the job done
  • You have great business acumen and are able to exercise judgment on when to work independently and when to bring partners to make business decision or recommendations
  • You are inquisitive and enjoy learning how things work
  • Above all else, you are bright, kind and motivated by challenge

Compensation and Benefits

Our anticipated compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, and the range below indicates the low end of the lowest-compensated market to the high end of the highest-compensated market. This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance. In addition, the position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. Applicants should apply via our internal or external careers site.Salary Range$112,250—$112,250 USD
