IT Concepts is seeking a highly qualified VP of Business Development, Human Capital to support the Business Development of all ITC programs. The Vice President of Business Development, Human Capital will be responsible for leading targeted growth initiatives for IT Concepts’ government Human Capital portfolio through strategic planning, tactical execution, and a high degree of collaboration across the Company. This role will develop a solid pipeline, drive new business growth, and lead all proposal and business development activities within the Human Capital portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the full life cycle of business development processes, from initial prospecting and proposal bidding through opportunity closure
  • Design and execute capture strategies for targeted opportunities; meet with industry partners and prospective customers to gather background information and build competitive offerings
  • Identify and qualify new business and maintain a strong pipeline aligned with IT Concepts’ operating and revenue strategy
  • Work collaboratively with the proposal team to develop winning bids, ensuring IT Concepts’ discriminators are prominently and effectively showcased
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong, results-oriented relationships with prospective and existing customers and strategic business partners that will result in new and increased revenue
  • Demonstrate and maintain a deep proficiency and expert knowledge of all existing and new Company offerings and capabilities
  • Monitor and manage revenue pipeline, leads, and win/loss analysis and reporting
  • Keep informed regarding significant customer trends, competitor information, and new marketplace products and innovations
  • Analyze the effectiveness of existing business development practices and develop repeatable and quantifiable process improvements
  • Represent IT Concepts through participation in industry-related organizations, conferences, and workshops

Location: Remote opportunity with company office located in Tysons Corner, Virginia. EST hours, and willing/able to travel to HQ as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in progressive Federal business development or capture roles focused on Human Capital, IT, data, or management consulting
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
  • Prior experience and in-depth knowledge of the government human capital sector
  • Prior experience within the IT business sector
  • Well versed in the rules and distinctions of awarding Federal small business contracts
  • Exceptional strategic selling skills including discovery, development and presentation, sales cycle maintenance, tactical planning and closing
  • Proven experience driving and implementing growth
  • Must have experience working with the databases/information repositories used for conducting diligence on qualified opportunities (GovWin, BGOV, USAspending.gov, etc.)
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills, including superior presentation skills
  • Must be self-motivated and have experience working in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple responsibilities
  • Experience bidding on large business contracts highly desired

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior operational experience a plus

Clearance requirement:

  • US Citizen residing in the United States
  • Must be willing and able to get a Public Trust or DOD level clearance as needed to support programs.
