Position Summary:

The Vice President, Sales, US, VBS will lead our sales efforts for Vecima's Video Broadband Solution products in the United States market. This role is a key leadership position that combines individual contributor responsibilities with sales team management. The Vice President of Sales, will focus on achieving maximum sales potential and profitability objectives, with an emphasis on mid-tier Cable & Telco operators within the United States.

Duties & Responsibilities to include (but not limited to):

  • Act as both a sales manager and an individual contributor, setting an example and driving performance excellence within the sales team.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets for Vecima's Video Broadband Solution products in the United States.
  • Primary focus on tier 2 and 3 (mid-tier) operators to establish and expand Vecima's presence and market share.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales engineering, professional services, product management, and marketing, to align with customer needs and market trends.
  • Create and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to track and report progress to executive leadership.
  • Represent Vecima Networks at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote Video Broadband Solution products and build brand recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards in all sales activities.

Position requirements:

  • 5 or more years of successful sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in the telecommunications or cable industry
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field
  • Successful full-cycle sales experience in selling highly-technical/complex product solutions
  • Experience working in any of the following industries: cable, telecom, satellite, broadcast, ott and other high technology markets
  • Experience selling at a Director, VP and above level
  • Experience with video broadband solutions
  • Experience with Dynamic Ad Insertion and the associated platforms preferred
  • Experience presenting solutions so they are accessible to non-technical decision makers
  • Proven experience in sales leadership and team management, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Technical background in video broadband solutions or related fields is a significant plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge and confidence in navigating complex sales cycles, including opportunity identification, qualification, and quantification.
  • Independence and self-motivation with a proven track record of growing existing business, targeting new business, securing new customers, and achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline, forecast, and volume projections using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to technical decision-makers effectively.
  • Ability to develop strong understanding of Vecima products and technologies.
  • Strategic thinker with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively from a remote location.
