We are seeking a highly creative-and motivated Video Content Strategist to join our dynamic Growth team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy geared towards our core audience’s needs, while aligning with Study.com’s brand. The Video Content Strategist will build a strong online community and generate millions of views, overseeing the creation of engaging video content in partnership with external and internal teams.
This is a remote full-time contractor position based in the Philippines. You will be expected to work during Study.com's Pacific Time business hours Monday - Friday. Additionally, you will use your own computer and have reliable access to high-speed internet.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement a scaled video strategy centered around US trends, supporting learners earning college credit and professional certifications
  • Lead a team of contractors to create and scale targeted YouTube accounts with focused audiences and content strategies
  • Drive creation of engaging video content supporting learners and educators while driving community following and viewership
  • Conduct keyword research and develop trending topics and scripts supporting our learners while highlighting Study.com’s products and services
  • Analyze content performance and KPIs to measure success
  • Manage content publication and distribution to optimize ranking with appropriate titles, descriptions, and video best practices
  • Partner with Growth and Social Impact teams to find relevant thought leaders and guest speakers to create high-quality, authoritative content
  • Stay up to date on industry trends to ensure content remains relevant and effective

What You’ll Bring To The Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Video and Content Strategist or similar role (Ed-tech preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, YouTube, and SEO best practices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative and passionate storytelling ability
  • Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment

The salary range for this role is per month. The salary range associated with this job considers the skill sets, experience and training required for this role.
