We are seeking a candidate to manage orders placed with Bosch’s overseas factories for the production management department of OEM products.
Based on demand from automotive parts customers, you will manage the entire process from placing orders with Bosch’s overseas factories to receiving finished products and delivering them to customers.
[Main Responsibilities]
Order Management and Inventory Management: Based on customer demand, you will manage product order planning, order processing, production, transportation, and shipping schedules for Bosch’s overseas factories. In doing so, you will also be responsible for proper inventory management, as well as managing new product launches, changes, and discontinuations.
Order, Shipping, and Transportation Management: You will collaborate with Bosch departments both within and outside the factory, as well as with business partners, to stay abreast of timely changes in status and ensure delivery to the customer is completed.
Other: With the goal of optimizing logistics quality and cost management, you will drive cost-reduction initiatives, operational efficiency improvements, and quality enhancement.
System and Data Management: Using SAP as the core system, you will manage related master data, formulate order plans, process orders, and oversee shipping, transportation, and inventory management.

We are looking for a person in charge of placing orders with overseas Bosch plants within the logistics department for OEM products.
Based on customer demand for automotive-related products, this position is responsible for managing the entire process from placing orders with overseas Bosch plants, receiving finished products after production, to delivering them to OEM customers.
Key Responsibilities

Based on customer demand, you will manage product order planning and order processing for overseas Bosch plants, as well as production, transportation, and shipment schedules. In addition, you will be responsible for appropriate inventory control and the management of new product launches, changes, and phase-outs.
[Order Intake, Shipment, and Transportation Management]
You will collaborate with Bosch departments both within and outside the plants, as well as with business partners, to promptly monitor status changes and ensure successful delivery to customers.

Qualifications
Logistics Expertise: Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in supply chain management and logistics concepts (order planning, inventory management, transportation, shipping, etc.).
Language Skills: Ability to converse in Japanese with Japanese staff at the factory and communicate in English.
International Negotiation and Communication: A track record of successful negotiations with overseas partners and the ability to maintain smooth cross-cultural communication, backed by a positive and cooperative attitude.

Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in supply chain management and logistics concepts, including order planning, inventory management, transportation, and shipment operations.
Language Skills:
Ability to communicate in Japanese with internal Japanese staff, as well as strong English communication skills.
