Datavant is currently at an exciting inflection point as a company. We are approximately two years post our merger, and we are gaining meaningful traction in converting our network to digital retrieval methods. Additionally, New Mountain Capital and a number of other investors have provided Datavant with an additional investment to fuel our future growth.

The VP of Business Transformation builds a Culture of Operational Excellence. Together with the Operations team, keeps the strategy aligned to achieve Datavant’s Strategic Objectives. You will identify opportunities to increase efficiency leveraging process improvement, technology, and innovative thinking.

You will:

  • Carry out internal Campaigns or Initiatives that allow to reinforce the implementations of Continuous Improvement tools and systems.
  • Develop, drive and own Executive Reporting on Initiatives, ROI, Risks/Opportunities
  • Lead cross functional teams towards weekly, bi-weekly, monthly operational efficiency targets
  • Identify and evaluate initiatives based on strategic, financial, and operational analytics to inform value creation investment priorities.
  • Manage the Payer Operations initiative pipeline to understand capacity constraints and total business impact driven by the overall portfolio.
  • Pursue discrete special projects. Lead special projects that do not have a natural home in the organization today, building cross-functional teams to help tackle the project.
  • Lead the business in developing and executing implementation plans to accelerate and realize value creation opportunities.
  • Unblock teams and projects within the organization to accelerate growth. Assist teams throughout the organization to provide an “extra set of hands” on important initiatives that need to succeed.
  • Data Analysis and Insights. Utilize data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making in special projects and growth initiatives.
  • Risk Management. Assess and manage risks associated with special projects and , developing risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, including coursework in finance, operations or business management.
  • Proven experience in leading special projects and managing cross-functional teams
  • Prior experience leveraging AI automation to enhance business outcomes

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges for this position are developed with the support of benchmarks and industry best practices.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $206,000 - 270,000.
