POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a VP Sales. Reporting to the CEO, this role requires a strategic thinker with profound market knowledge and a proven leadership record in driving revenue growth. The VP of Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's market presence and enhancing brand recognition.
The VP of Sales will be an effective communicator and leader combined with flexibility in thinking and great attention to detail. They will also have the attitude and ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of business and support and sustain a positive work environment towards the accomplishment of organizational goals.
The right candidate will:
- Think strategically and use market knowledge to drive revenue growth
- Play a pivotal role in shaping our client's market presence and enhancing brand recognition
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, setting and monitoring performance targets aligned with business strategy
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth objectives
- Cultivate strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Identify new business opportunities and oversee the development and execution of go-to-market plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales initiatives
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and potential threats
- Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to senior leadership
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the Language and Cultural Training Services markets, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Proficiency in CRM software and experience in managing sales KPIs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
