About Us
“Pushing boundaries, thinking disruptively, shaping the future—join us as we mold the talent of tomorrow.”
The Franklin Institute stands for disruption and innovation in the education industry. We’re reshaping the online education landscape—quickly, ambitiously, and with an entrepreneurial spirit. Our mission: excellence, measurable results, and genuine transformation for our participants.
As a scale-up, we’re constantly building out the technical infrastructure behind it all: We automate, optimize, and develop the systems and processes that support our growth, and we’re constantly refining our own product focused on process automation and AI. To ensure this runs smoothly, we’re looking for someone who thinks proactively, helps shape the direction, and takes the initiative.
Your Role & Responsibilities
You’ll help us keep the technical infrastructure behind our training programs up and running and continue to develop it. HubSpot, Zapier, and our participant portal map out our participants’ journey—from initial contact to certification. You’ll help build, test, and document these systems, ensuring that everything not only works but also remains transparent. As part of the tech team, you’ll help shape and improve internal processes—you’ll identify areas where things could be simplified and actively contribute your ideas.
You’ll build and maintain no-code/low-code workflows in HubSpot and Zapier—including both adjustments to existing automations and new workflows
You’ll create new properties, lists, and views in our CRM (HubSpot) so that teams can work with them efficiently
You’ll be the point of contact for issues that can’t be resolved by the power users in the functional teams
You’ll test changes before they go live and document what you’ve tested
You independently investigate error messages and decide which issues to resolve yourself and which need to be escalated
You work with our power users in the subject-matter teams to understand new requirements and define the technical approach
You maintain our technical documentation and guides for the subject-matter teams
Your Profile
You enjoy working in a structured manner, have a passion for systems, and don’t give up when something doesn’t work right away.
Must-Haves:
Enrolled student (m/f/d) with approximately 20 hours of availability per week
A structured, independent, and reliable work style: You see things through to completion without needing follow-up
Attention to detail: We work on complex, interconnected processes, so precision is essential
Proficiency with digital tools and a willingness to quickly learn new ones (including AI tools)
You can document what you’ve done clearly and thoroughly
Nice-to-Haves:
Initial experience with no-code or automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable)
Experience with CRMs of any kind (e.g., HubSpot)
Interest in operations, process design, and educational topics
Enjoyment in questioning internal processes and making them a bit more efficient
What sets us apart?
We’re a dynamic team with ambitious goals and honest communication. We believe in personal responsibility over micromanagement, and speed over perfection. In this role, you’ll take on responsibility from day one and quickly grow into your responsibilities. You’ll work closely with the systems and products that drive our growth.
By the way: You can also join us through an internship or by taking on an independent project—with the opportunity to continue with us as a working student afterward. Just reach out to us, and together we’ll find the right fit.
We look forward to your application! :)
