Georgia's economic history spans from colonial-era cotton plantations to one of the most dynamic regional economies in the modern South. The company's global headquarters remains in Atlanta, and its cultural influence on the city — through philanthropy, civic investment, and talent attraction — has been profound. Remote work has reshaped Georgia's talent geography. Atlanta has long attracted talent from across the Southeast, but remote work has allowed workers throughout the state — in Savannah, Augusta, Columbus, and rural areas — to access Atlanta-caliber or national-caliber salaries without relocating.
