The customer is a large automotive company. They are looking for a strong mobile tester who has good communication skills and is open to working US hours. Typical working hours will be either 8 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm EST.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement manual testing strategies for mobile applications.
Develop and execute test cases for iOS and Android platforms.
Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
Transition from manual testing to automation, selecting appropriate tools and frameworks.
Establish and maintain mobile testing environments.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in mobile testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Extensive experience (5+ years) in mobile testing (iOS & Android).
Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with automation tools (Appium, XCTest, Espresso, etc.).
Ability to set up testing frameworks from scratch.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile development environments.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (upper-intermediate English skills or above).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
