Your role in VBA:
As a Recruiter, you will support our hiring goals by evaluating applications and screening and interviewing candidates for our Behavioral Technician roles. If you find a sense of purpose and fulfillment in connecting with others on a daily basis, you’ll thrive in this role.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Evaluating applications, contacting and phone screening candidates, and scheduling and completing interviews
- Preparing job offers and new hire paperwork; entering new hire information into our HRIS and scheduling software platform
- Posting and updating jobs on career and college job boards
- Communicating with VBA’s scheduling team regarding hiring needs
- Developing and strengthening your recruiting skills by assisting with special projects and sourcing initiatives
- Most importantly, you’ll play an essential role in helping kids with autism receive life-changing therapy services

Requirements
Requirements:
- 6 months+ of HR or Recruiting experience
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
- Positive attitude, with a natural ability to communicate and build rapport with others
- Proficiency in Google Suite and able to quickly learn new software systems
- Ability to work PST hours, Monday - Friday
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination is required
- Experience with ABA is highly desired, but not required!
