Job Description

We are currently seeking an Accessibility Test Engineer to join our team at ProArch. As an Accessibility Test Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing and ensuring the accessibility of our digital products and services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to identify and rectify accessibility issues and ensure that our products meet the highest accessibility standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing to assess the accessibility of digital products and services
  • Diagnose and document accessibility issues using WCAG 2.1 guidelines
  • Create and execute test plans and test cases
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to resolve accessibility issues
  • Conduct accessibility audits and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with accessibility standards and guidelines
  • Advocate for accessibility best practices within the organization
  • Provide training and support to team members on accessibility testing

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 Years of experience in Accessibility Testing (Manual); and good to have knowledge in Automation(Script Development & Executions)
  • Experience and knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA & AAA Standards
  • Experience in conducting Accessibility - User acceptance testing.
  • Experience using Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools
  • Multi-tasking abilities, be able to meet deadlines without compromising quality
  • Experience using Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools e.g., WAVE, BrowserStack
  • Screen Testing and Color contrast checker for readability
  • Experience in Agile Methodology and has been actively working with Sprint Teams
  • Knowledge on Test, Defect Management tools like e.g., lira, QC
  • Experienced in Design and Execution of Test criteria from requirements
  • Creates, executes, and maintains test plans and test cases for major features.
  • Measures quality, anticipates and mitigates quality risks
  • Education Qualification: BE/ B.Tech
