The Team

​​The Account Executive team is composed of internationals people based in Barcelona (Italian, Dutch, Spanish, French, …). A mix between our account executive and account manager teams and some product/tech people who like to work a lot in teams to help each other and exchange !

Main responsibilities

As an Italian-speaking Sales Intern, you will play a vital role in both outbound and inbound sales activities. Your mission involves engaging with potential clients through outbound strategies, nurturing leads, and supporting inbound sales efforts. Additionally, you will actively participate in the "Made in Italy" project, collaborating closely with the sales team to promote and support Italian brands.

To excel in this mission, you will need to demonstrate great organizational skills, curiosity, and a strong team spirit. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of brands on Ankorstore and to the growth of a leading B2B marketplace in Europe.

This 6-month paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in the e-commerce industry and contribute to the growth of Ankorstore brands. Your mission :

  • Inbound Sales: You are responsible for managing inbound demand on the platform. Your role involves selecting brands with the potential to enhance Ankorstore's offerings for independent merchants.

  • Outbound Sales: You will initiate calls, emails, and other communication channels to introduce our services to prospects.

  • Boutique Creation and Optimization: Your responsibilities include supporting selected brands in creating and optimizing their boutiques on Ankorstore to help maximize their sales.

  • Participation in the "Made in Italy" Project: You will collaborate with the sales team to identify Italian brands suitable for the event. Additionally, you will provide support to Italian brands in onboarding and optimizing their presence.

  • Inter-team Collaboration: Actively participate in inter-team initiatives aimed at improving the success of inbound acquisition. Collaborate with different teams such as Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support to lead initiatives that enhance brands' experience on Ankorstore.

Requirements

  • You are able to provide an Internship agreement from your school

  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in English (both written and verbal)

  • Excellent organization: effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.

  • Sales/Data driven: Understand and master your numbers and aim for excellence in converting prospects into clients.

  • E-commerce knowledge: Familiarity with the e-commerce industry, its trends, and key indicators is a plus.

  • Curiosity: Be open to learning and exploring new ideas.

  • Strong team spirit: Work synergistically with the team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

  • Proactive mindset: Willingness to take initiatives, demonstrate autonomy, and take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment, quickly adapt to changes, and tackle new challenges. Willingness for your contribution to be significant.

  • Tools: Proficient in using Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with Salesforce is a plus. We also use Mixmax, Aircall, Modjo, Google Software (Google Sheets, Google Docs..), webscrapper.io, Instant Data Scrapper.

Salary: 1 000€/month
