Job Description

This position aims to grow sales of INFICON Service Tools through multiple distribution channels in an assigned region. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, exhibits excellent communication skills, and is customer-oriented by developing long-lasting professional relationships that influence INFICON’s Service Tools business. The ideal candidate will oversee our West Coast sales activities and make in-person market visits to sales accounts, managing both Service Tools distributor corporate and branch relationships. In addition to sales activities, a Service Tools Account Manager will manage, train, and motivate contracted manufacturing sales representatives in the assigned territory.

This is a field sales position. Sales territory consists of the Western United States (Rocky Mountains to the Pacific Ocean)

Requirements:

  • Lead INFICON’s Service Tools sales efforts in HVAC/R aftermarket by targeting new or existing key wholesaler accounts and successfully increase sales.
  • Create professional working relationships with local buyers and decision makers.
  • Oversee INFICON Service Tools West Coast sales agency.
  • Evaluate sales territory to identify gaps in sales and collaborate with sales agents to grow the region.
  • Schedule and attend open houses at local distributors to promote INFICON Service Tools.
  • Enhance sales efforts through regular customer visits.
  • Conduct product training with prospective customers (end users and distributors).
  • Report regional sales activities on a regular basis through INFICON CRM and other reporting tools.
  • Identify current market trends and new product opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
  • Support and participate in trade show activities.
  • Provide technical assistance and application support to sales agents and customers.
  • Provide input to product line pricing strategy.
  • Control operating expenditures to remain in the approved budget.
  • Candidate can reside anywhere throughout the sales territory.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentrations in Marketing, Business Management, or Engineering
  • Technical aptitude, HVAC/R knowledge is a plus
  • Minimum two years of technical sales, account management, or product management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with good time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • 40-50% domestic travel

Additional Information

For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000 per year.In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law
