This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, experienced, and ambitious leader with proven ability to successfully manage large Hard FM contracts. The role would be suited to a strong-minded people and relationship manager with the skills to communicate and motivate across all levels of the organisation.

This role will see you act as the area lead for customer management, commercial contract management and contract spend compliance within VIVO's RFCA Estate. You will be accountable for delivering best practice operational management and ensuring value for money across designated contract remit and provide professional focus, identity, and leadership to the Operational Teams.

You will lead the RFCA contract across the Operational Area as the VIVO business stabilises from mobilisation and Transformation of the RFCA contract. The successful candidate will also support the business strategy and position the contract for focussed growth, drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, ensure contract objectives are fully achieved within budgets and targets, regularly review, action and report contract performance, against objectives, budgets, and targets and develop operational solutions ensuring that value to the customer is maximised and securing growth of the business.

There will be responsibility for ensuring optimal operational and financial performance of the contract, ensuring all KPIs are achieved, as well as managing complex client relationships with a number of external stakeholders including DIO and RFCA, delivering high quality maintenance to meet contract SLAs and KPIs for reactive, planned and grounds maintenance across the RFCA Estate, ensuring best practice, policies, procedures, processes, and systems are adhered to and are compliant with the VIVO Management System.

Additionally, you will ​​​​​Maintain Statutory Compliance across the Volunteer Estate and manage/mitigate any risks, create and maintain a capability to successfully deliver capital projects across the estate according to contractual requirements and implement a Health and Safety Strategy that delivers Zero Harm

You will be a key stakeholder and contributor to the wider development and delivery of Company led agendas, with a focus on supporting the agenda for cultural change within the Volunteer Estates contract.

This role will come with direct line management responsibility for 5 Area Managers.

The Account Manager will be home based, with the expectation that you will be highly visible across 8 service delivery areas from Lands End to Northumberland during the working week. You can expect to be travelling between areas for 2-3 days per week.

What You Need To Do The Job

It is essential that candidates have proven relevant work experience at the appropriate level outlined above in a Hard FM contract environment. Previous experience of managing hard FM contracts within the MOD/MOJ, Health or Prison Services, or other Government/Local Authority environments would be of particular interest to us.

We are seeking an excellent communicator with the ability to lead, motivate and engage with employees and stakeholders alike at all levels, with exceptional analytical skills and a proven track record of delivering change in complex and demanding environments.

You should have the ability to and experience of building positive working partnerships, assimilating contract specific information quickly and contribute to the commercial goals of the business, coupled with confidence using all Microsoft Office packages including Word, Exel and Powerpoint.

Due to the security vetting requirements of the Contract, applicants must have the the ability to obtain unrestricted SC Clearance.

It is also essential that you hold a full UK driving licence.
