POSITION TITLE: ACCOUNT MANAGER, Industry Account Management

LOCATION: REMOTE US

This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA and is fully remote within the US. Travel is expected domestically and internationally when needed.

Who we are looking for:

As we continue to grow globally, the Industry Account Management Team is looking for an experienced account manager to join as an Account Manager to continue the success of our commercial team. This position will report to the VP of Account Management and will manage a territory of assigned customers across Pharma and CRO clients.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager tojoin the team and manage our client engagement efforts within the pharmaceutical and CRO sectors. The AM will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, driving customer satisfaction, and maximizing revenue growth opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, exceptional leadership abilities, and a track record of driving successful account management initiatives.

What you will be doing:

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute comprehensive account management strategies to drive growth (sales and revenue) and maximize client satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of account strategies with company objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders at pharmaceutical and CRO customers. Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and strategic discussions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Implementation teams to ensure seamless execution of client initiatives. Advocate for client needs and provide feedback to internal teams to drive product improvements and enhancements.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand revenue within existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals. Develop account plans and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as a client advocate within the organization, representing client interests and ensuring their needs are met across all touchpoints. Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the pharmaceutical and CRO sectors. Use market insights to inform account strategies and drive business growth.

What you bring to TriNetX:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field, but not required with applicable experience.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in account management or business development within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry or other applicable experience if outside of these industries.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and managing key accounts in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of real-world data, healthcare analytics, and the pharmaceutical drug development process.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex account management strategies.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
