As we continue to scale and develop our Finance department, we are looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee and manage our global Accounting teams. This will include managing a senior team of accountants and developing efficient, reliable processes across multiple international entities. The perfect candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and show the ability to shape new processes as well as improve the existing ones.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other applicable standards.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to support the company’s growth.
- Draft and review accounting memos to document complex transactions and address technical accounting matters.
- Ensure compliance with all debt covenants, financial regulations and applicable standards.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Lead and improve the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Drive the implementation of new accounting systems and software to support the company’s growth.
- Mentoring and developing a global accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic decision-making.
- Support of external audits and liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance,Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a management role
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls is a must
- Chartered Accountant and/or Certified Public Accountant is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, Navision, Oracle)
- Experience working is a fast-growth organization within a related industry (SaaS, Marketplace, broader tech) is a plus
