Close has 11,000+ paying customers, our product wins head-to-head against some of the biggest players in the CRM market… and almost no one knows we exist. Our first ever Agentic Growth Marketing Lead will be the one to change that.
In this role, top of funnel and conversion are yours. You’ll be both the strategist and the executor. You’ll make the bets and you’ll implement them, with agents doing real work for you and automations running in the background. The scope and ownership are possible now because of what real operators can do with AI.
You’ll report to our SVP of Marketing and join our small, skilled Marketing team of eight.
All-in on the demand problem. You think about how customers find products, how they decide to buy, and with the same frameworks a great PM brings to a feature. Demand and conversion are your products. You instrument, ship, watch the data… and then ship again.
AI-powered. You have AI tools running parts of your workflow autonomously. You can talk through which models or tools are the right (or wrong!) choice for any genre of problem. You can show off the workflow you shipped or the thing that’s breaking right now. The way you operate today wouldn’t have been possible two years ago and you definitely won’t operate the same way two months from now either.
Obsessed with organic and how discovery is changing. You have opinions about what SEO looks like in a world where people search in ChatGPT and Claude. You've thought about LLM optimization. You've experimented with video, social, or community-driven distribution - not just search and paid.
A holistic thinker. You’re laser focused on CAC, LTV, payback. You’ve got opinions on how channel strategy connects to landing page experience and see the website as one connected system with one foot in acquisition and the other in the product.
An operator with a builder instincts. You’ve started something - a company, a side project, a thing you ran for a few years. Succeeded? Failed miserably? We’re indifferent. What we care about is that you were accountable to the results and that you bring that same ownership lens to everything you’ve worked on since.
Backed by 5-8+ years in B2B SaaS growth, marketing, or as a founder. You've done something like this at a company that looks a little like Close - a product people love, a lean team, or a market where you have to earn every bit of attention. Bonus points if you were there early and helped build the growth motion before there was a playbook!
Treat demand as the product you are building. Define what you are optimizing, what the leading indicators are, what the experiments queue looks like. Run the function the way a good PM runs a product surface - hypotheses, instrumentation, weekly shipping, postmortems on what did not work.
Pick the channels worth betting on, build them, and iterate. We don't have an astronomical budget, but this is a moment where smarts can out-savvy deep pockets, and Close has the raw stuff to pull it off; we have a product people love, content worth distributing, and an org that's already deeply AI-forward. For the right person, this is all the kindling you'll need.
Own top-of-funnel traffic and care about what happens after. Your primary metric is getting more of the right people to Close's website and product. The "the right people" are those who convert to trials and eventually pay. You'll partner with the Product Growth team to ensure a smooth and successful handoff from website to product.
Run the experiments. Channel selection, ad copy, landing pages, video, social, partnerships, product-led loops. You are setting them up, monitoring the data, and sharing the learnings.
Prove it's working. Traffic up. Trials up. Paid subscribers up. You'll build the reporting to show what's not working and what is.
