Overview

LMI seeks a skilled a Agile Release Train (ART) Engineer that will provide leadership and guidance for the coordination of multiple product teams within an ART to support the development of an asset management system as part of enterprise-wide U.S. Navy strategic modernization and improvement efforts. LMI is helping NAVSUP to use technology to track materiel for the Navy in warehouses and yards.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART).
  • Facilitate the ART events and processes and assist the Agile teams in delivering value.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement.
  • Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs).
  • Facilitate periodic synchronization events, including the ART sync Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary.
  • Facilitates program level processes and execution, drives continuous development, manages risks and escalates impediments while also acting as a full time chief scrum master for a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, and drive relentless improvement.
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
  • Help manage risks and dependencies.
  • Facilitate System Demos.
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Certified Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant (SPC) version 5.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 8+ years direct Management Consultant/Coaching experience and/or Product Management experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required.

Desired:

  • Masters Certificate in Lead Agile practices and mindset.
  • Experience implementing Scaled Agile Framework on DoD programs.
  • Experience supporting the build out of Department of Defense (DoD) Business systems
