What is this position about?
Join our dynamic team as an API Engineer at a leading multinational company in the US specializing in mass media and entertainment. You will collaborate with talented engineers to drive key projects for our marketing team by building robust API layers and contributing to the development of multiple applications.
You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office!
Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain an API layer that supports multiple applications leveraged by the marketing team for data and analytics.
Build a solution using Python and JavaScript, ensuring scalable and efficient code across multiple applications.
Integrate backend services with existing frontend applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and communication.
Provide clear status updates within the client’s project management framework.
Identify and solve technical challenges, enhancing productivity and collaboration.
Qualifications
Studies in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
Strong experience in API development with a focus on backend solutions.
Proficiency in Python and experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with frontend technologies.
Knowledge of DataIQ, Snowflake, and Streamlit is a plus.
Ability to effectively communicate technical challenges and provide regular project updates.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and project management frameworks.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What about languages?
You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team.
How much experience must I have?
In order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 5+ years of experience as an API Engineer.
