Exciting Opportunity: Join Us as an Application Engineer - Industrial Automation!
We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Application Engineer - Industrial Automation. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing pre-sales application consultancy to our sales team, with a specific focus on Electric Automation.
As an Application Engineer, you will not only propose solutions but also consider commercial aspects to ensure the best outcomes for our customers. Your proactive approach will drive the expansion of our automation business by uncovering potential and identifying opportunities.
Your main responsibility will be assisting customers in selecting and acquiring Electric Automation products that are perfectly suited to their specific applications. Additionally, you will be accountable for the pre-sales design of solutions and the development of conceptual ideas for custom solutions before handing them over to our engineering team.
From the early stages of solution concept to the initial installation at the customer site, you will be involved in the end-to-end process. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the entire lifecycle of our projects.
About You!

- Managing existing client relationships to be sustainable, profitable and an advocate for the Festo business.
- Completed studies in the field of Engineering such as electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation technology.
- Solid technical knowledge and understanding of automation and drive technology.
- An analytical mind, with highly tuned problem solving and negotiation skills.
