Our Client is seeking an application support specialist, to help them support a lending systems application.

What you will be doing:
  • Acts as Liaison between the lending area and their technology vendors
  • Prepare, in consultation with the Lending area, detailed requirements specifications and provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements
  • The Application support specialist analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated system including errors, malfunctions, job stoppages, and program information to ensure that operation standards are met and upheld.
  • Identify and resolve system issues in order to maintain services, enhance capabilities, and prevent system outages.
  • Conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
  • Maintain our loan origination systems, create and maintain reports, and interface configurations.
  • Support other systems such as the core banking system and document archival system as needed.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor job processes in our software scheduling system for all the file interfaces that our client is responsible for.
  • Analyze and correct production and testing issues with emphasis on continued process improvement
What we need from you:
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in IT related field with a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in Software application Maintenance and support. IT industry certifications a plus.
  • Must have technical expertise with Windows Operating Systems (server and Workstation), Application support, report writing and system utilities.
  • Configuration and installation of application Systems is required.
  • Willing to work flexible hours when required, willing to travel, if necessary, for educational and disaster recovery purposes,
  • Well versed in supporting applications developed
  • Knowledge of Lending systems and Lending process are required
  • Knowledgeable in any Job Flow or Scheduling Software.
  • Expected to be available either remote, for technical support during off-hours, weekends and/or holidays for emergencies, staff-shortage, and other extenuating circumstances.
  • 2-5 years of experience with application support/technical support for Meridian Link
