- 100% Remote.

- 36 months long-term.

- US Citizenship is required for Public Trust. Active Public Trust would be preferred for immediate start.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and evaluation on latest infrastructure and cloud technologies, including but not limited to server, storage, network, virtual machine, cloud IaaS, PaaS, containerization, disaster recovery, etc.
  • Produce formal decision analysis and recommendation document on technologies to be adopted at the customer data center and cloud.
  • Implement Proof-Of-Concept (POC) on key infrastructure and cloud technologies.
  • Design system architecture and technical implementation plan.
  • Evaluate cloud vendor offerings. Implement cloud pilots. Participate in cloud implementation design and migration planning.
  • Assist in producing documentation and other deliverables that meet customer's requirements.
  • Participate in other cross-function design and development activities.
  • Design and automate cloud environments at scale using Infrastructure as Code tools
  • Design and develop fully automated software delivery pipelines
  • Efficiently collaborate within and across agile teams to maximize productivity
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and similar
  • Engage in all agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, demos and retrospectives
  • Eliminate road-blocks and hindrances preventing teams from delivering software
  • Assist the team in documenting and leveraging cloud and DevOps best practices acceptance testing) cycles and performs testing with thoroughness and great attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in a related area (Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, etc).
  • 6+ years of AWS cloud experience
  • Experience migrating applications from on-prem to AWS cloud, preferably in a government environment.
  • AWS Migration exp within Federal Gov environment preferred.
  • AWS Professional Cloud Certification Preferred.
  • Deep understanding and working experience in server, storage, network, virtual machine, security.
  • Deep understanding and working experience in cloud technologies from one or more leading cloud vendors.
  • Expertise working with Unix/Linux platforms and scripting experience with Shell, Python and Perl.
  • Experience supporting mission critical, enterprise class applications based on Linux and Windows platform on-premises or in the cloud.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
