ABOUT THE ROLE
An Associate Applications Developer works with and supports other developers, applies training in information technology and computer programming to provide support to business stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, and modify code to maintain business applications.
Software developers are responsible for serving the business and contributing to its success. Such service will be realized by championing personal, team, departmental, and company goals and strategies with a commitment to excellence and a spirit of perseverance.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
- At least 1 – 2 years’ experience in
- Project development methodologies (full development lifecycle) with Agile/Scrum/DevOps experience
- Trouble analysis and resolution with individual software applications and multi-application interfaces
- Programming Language- Microsoft .Net, C#
- Database – knowledge of relational databases like Oracle
- Application Tools – Visual Studio 2019/2020
- Desktop Software – Microsoft Office Suite
- Operating System – Windows
- Software concepts and patterns – Object Oriented, Relational Database Design.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS PREFERRED
- Desktop Software – TOAD
- Agile Management tools, preferably Azure DevOps
- Web/E-Commerce – Angular, React.JS, Typescript
- API and Messaging experience
- Database – Microsoft SQL Server TSQL, NoSQL, MongoDB
- Understanding of version control, continuous integration, and deployment tools
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and enhance a mixture of business software applications
- Investigate and resolve issues reported by the business teams
- Follow GVI Technology standards for analysis, design, programming, testing, and support of software solutions
- Contribute to a team effort by troubleshooting and completing development tasks assigned
- Promote positive relationships internally and externally
- Seek to present zero defect products to the Quality Assurance and Production environments
- Seek continual improvement of system availability, performance, and workflow
