In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with the Director to develop and implement a strategic vision that champions diversity, equity, and inclusion across campus. As a vital resource for the Lehigh community, you will address issues and concerns related to these core values, promoting student development, leadership, success, and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and advising to multicultural student organizations
• Develop and deliver impactful educational programming on diversity and inclusion
• Advise peer education and mentoring programs associated with OMA
• Partner with cross-campus entities to cultivate opportunities for underrepresented and first-generation students
• Offer tailored academic and professional support to underrepresented student populations
• Contribute to Lehigh's retention efforts for underrepresented and first-generation students
Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Diversity and Race relations, Multicultural Education, Social Justice or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three to five years of related professional post Master's degree experience
• Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong organizational and project management abilities

This position is a Grade: 9 - 40, offering an approximate salary of $54,390-$66,190. The duties of this position may allow the employee to work partially remote as deemed appropriate by their supervisor. This position will require the ability to work evenings and weekends.
