Job Summary:

Blavity Inc. is looking for an Associate Publisher Account Manager to play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships for the Blavity 360 brand with publishers across diverse verticals. This role will leverage expertise in the online advertising space to understand publisher business needs and identify revenue growth opportunities.

This role will report directly to the Director, Publisher Partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with publishers to understand their business objectives and align them with Blavity 360's product offerings
  • Collaborate with publishers to identify revenue growth and expansion opportunities through digital advertising solutions
  • Manage direct sold and programmatic advertising for publishers, ensuring optimal performance and delivery
  • Utilize Ad Wrapper and Header Bidder technologies to enhance publisher monetization strategies
  • Launch digital advertising products on new publishers and facilitate content syndication where applicable
  • Guide publishers through the digital sales process, including traditional IO and programmatic (PMP/PG), from pitching to campaign monitoring
  • Analyze large data sets and present concise summaries suitable for publishers and executive stakeholders
  • Help facilitate month end billing and reconciliation process

Qualifications:

  • Education: N/A
  • Required Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in digital advertising, including digital display and video
    • Firm understanding of digital advertising core publisher KPIs (Viewability, VCR, CTR, CPM, RPM, etc.)
    • Experience with Google's AdManager 360 MCM connection process
    • Experience managing direct sold and programmatic advertising campaigns
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Experience in a publisher-focused role
    • Experience using STAQ and Dashboard technologies
  • Technologies:
    • Strong understanding of digital advertising technologies and platforms, including AdManager 360 and Google Analytics 4
    • Experience working with Ad Wrapper/Header Bidder technology
    • Poficiency in Microsoft Office (with emphasis on MS Excel), Google Office Suite, Salesforce, and Asana or comparable project management suite
  • Additional Qualifications:
    • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with publishers across various verticals
    • Independent, entrepreneurial self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility
    • Comfort with ambiguity and a proven love for transforming unorganized/complex data into rigorously structured, insight-oriented solutions
    • High-energy, company-first, positive attitude; must be motivated to work hard in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Naturally detail-oriented, with an obsessive need to document and communicate findings
    • A healthy appreciation of GIFs and Black culture

Details:

  • This is a fully remote, U.S.- based role. Occasional travel may be required.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Candidates must be available to work in alignment with the Pacific Time Zone at least 50% of the time.
  • The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000.
