What makes you a strong candidate:
- You are expert in ETL (Extract, transform, load), Oracle Database, SQL, and Unit testing.
- English - Conversational.
- Responsible for development/unit testing and integration testing of ETL's written given a specification.
- Creating and executing test cases and documenting to prove all test scenarios function properly (including negative test cases).
- Use industry best practices but also local design patterns for development .
- Create or update design and systems documentation for developed or modified ETLs.
- Create process and data flow diagrams for data movement capture.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate/communicate with project team and business users as required.
- Support functional testing and performance testing (do the testing or supporting QA team).
- Works with technical delivery lead on project activities.
- Ensure assigned work is implemented within project schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years overall IT experience and 5 years or more in one of the technologies listed in the Technical Experience section.
- Oracle/SQL experience.
- Strong experience with Informatica development in BDM.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Word, Excel).
- Experience in both Unix and Windows platforms.
- Design and Develop Informatica workflows to exchange data with the MDM hub or other operational or warehouse data stores based on design provided.
- Be able to create or modify Perl scripts for job control and process flow.
- Familiarity with Jira (defect remediation) and Confluence (project document repository).
