We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Brand Marketing & Media Buying Lead to join Oviva in driving performance, refining processes, and making a real impact.

The Role

As the Brand Marketing & Media Buying Lead, you will play acritical role in expanding our reach and driving patient acquisition on the German market through offline media channels, including TV, CTV, Radio, Print, and Out-of-Home (OOH), while integrating these efforts with digital reach campaigns.

Reporting to the Head of Paid Marketing, you will lead upper-funnel marketing activities, ensuring cost-effective and ROI-positive media investments that support both brand awareness and lead generation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape Oviva’s media strategy and contribute to our mission of improving health outcomes through innovative digital solutions.

  • Plan and steer offline media campaigns (TV, CTV, Radio, Print, and OOH) to drive patient acquisition and brand awareness, ensuring timely launches, budget alignment, and optimization for brandformance.

  • Negotiate rates and placements with media agencies, TV networks, radio stations, and print publishers to ensure cost-efficiency. Work closely with media agencies to optimize buying strategies and improve CPL and ROAS.

  • Analyze media performance by tracking key KPIs (CPM, GRPs, reach, response and conversion rates) and optimize campaigns. Work with data and analytics teams to assess impact of offline and digital reach campaigns using media mix models, performance metrics, brand lift studies, and geo experiments.

  • Align offline and online marketing strategies to create a cohesive, full-funnel approach, working with digital marketing teams to test new measurement frameworks for tracking offline impact on digital conversions. Partner with the product growth team to design user journeys that connect reach campaigns with website/lead acquisition.

  • Support annual and quarterly media budget planning, optimizing resource allocation based on market research, leveraging forecasting tools. Monitor spend vs. performance and recommend budget shifts across reach channels for maximum efficiency.

  • Work closely with brand and creative teams to develop high-impact ad creatives for TV, Radio and Print that align with brand messaging and regulatory requirements.

  • Stay ahead of media trends and competitor activities, testing and evaluating emerging offline channels to expand Oviva’s reach.

Requirements

About You

  • Knowledge of media measurement frameworks and campaign performance analytics.

  • Strong budget management and forecasting skills for media campaigns.

  • Analytical skills to interpret campaign performance data, optimize media mix, and apply attribution frameworks.

  • Excellent collaboration across creative, performance marketing, and analytics teams.

  • Sharp project management skills with attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with digital performance marketing and online-to-offline campaign integration.

  • Experience with TV ROI and brandformance campaigns, understanding key tools and metrics.

  • Fluency in both German and English.
