The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Business Analyst role will make an impact:

  • The Business Analyst is responsible for the support of multiple software platforms used across regional/global finance teams, including Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Intercompany/E-invoicing.
  • The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing and documenting project scope and designs for various finance applications.
  • Responsible for design document, business SOPs, user handouts.
  • Responsibilities of this role encompass a variety of functions, including expertise in application navigation, complex system functionality, process mapping, workflows, and data integration.
  • Provide technical input, design inputs on variety of finance projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with interpreting the stakeholders’ business goals into specific deliverables, then overseeing their technical development.
  • The role will also be assisting in preparing test scripts and testing the final solution as a part of project team.
  • Create and understand financial systems documentation, including workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Work as a liaison between with members of IT and Functional Finance Teams to ensure project scope is identified and documented with sufficient details.
  • Create requirement and design documentation for projects with collaboration with internal technical and business teams.
  • Create other require project documentation like requirement traceability matrix, Standard Operating Procedures, training documents, application handouts

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience in the finance application space, including at least one area such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany, or E-invoicing, is essential.
  • Finance experience in one of the following areas—Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Intercompany—is essential.
  • Familiarity with various types of project management and business analysis software and proficiency in spreadsheets
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communications and presentation skill to all audience levels.
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing in English is required
  • Knowledge of SDLC and other software methodology is an advantage
  • Previously worked on automation projects is an advantage
