Business Systems Specialist

Concept Plus is looking for a Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) developer to support our client to maintain data using Excel for data collection, reports, and analytics. This process as been heavily automated using Macros, Visual Basic, and other technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather and track performance metrics using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Develop IGCEs and BCAs for contract co-terming.
• Generate reports for senior leadership and ESAs.
• Load contract data into the IT Asset Management program.
• Maintain and optimize automated data management systems using coding expertise.
• Acquire and develop ServiceNow-related skills to support acquisition workflow and data collection.
• Integrate ServiceNow with existing systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand and fulfill client requirements for enterprise-level business solutions.
• Develop software applications within the organization's application development framework.
• Utilize web-based technologies such as Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST API, mobile development, and Web Based API.
• Work with the Systems Architect to implement new third-party applications, tools, and programming libraries.
• Contribute to the achievement of the client's business development goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
• Strong coding skills and experience with relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of business processes and requirements.

• 5+ years of related experience
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant fields (8+ years experience in lieu of degree)
