About the opportunity

As a Capital Operations intern, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day capital operations processes, while coordinating initiatives that will support optimizing operational efficiency in Italy. You will work closely with our Capital team, as well as cross-functional teams, to ensure smooth transactions, accurate data management, and high-quality customer experiences. This internship is ideal for those who are eager to learn, grow, and want a hands-on experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage capital back-office operations for the Italian market, including documentation, transaction processing, and reconciliation.

  • Execute strategies focused on improving the user experience in the Italian market.

  • Assist in the onboarding of Italian customers, ensuring a smooth experience with our product

  • Conduct customer outreach to understand local needs, support customer inquiries related to capital operations and troubleshoot any issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, finance, legal) to ensure smooth capital operations and reporting and that strategies align with any customer feedback.

  • Develop and optimize workflows for capital processes, including funding disbursements, credit management, and financial reporting.

  • Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for operational improvement.

  • Coordinate with external partners (banks, financial institutions) in the Italian market to facilitate seamless transactions.

What you need to be successful (requirements):

  • Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) is required, with strong communication skills in English.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations, Finance, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical mindset, able to work with data and financial metrics (proficiency in Excel is expected), with a willingness to learn and deepen expertise.

  • Highly motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, operational environment.

  • Some experience (e.g., internships, projects) in operations or finance is a plus.
