About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and driven Business Operations Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting our fundraising initiatives for both the fund and the incubator as well as maintaining strong relationships with potential limited partners (LPs) and incubator applicants.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to Inbound and Outbound Fundraising Leads: Actively engage with and respond to various fundraising inquiries and leads. Utilize effective communication skills to understand and address the needs and interests of potential investors.
- Follow-Up with Potential LPs, Incubator Donors, and Incubator Applicants: Maintain consistent and professional follow-up communications with prospective LPs, incubator donors, and incubator applicants. Ensure that all interactions are conducted in a manner that aligns with Climate Capital Bio's values and mission.
- Ensure Data Hygiene and Accuracy in CRM (HubSpot): Regularly update and maintain accurate records in our CRM system, HubSpot. This involves tracking communications, managing investor, donor, and applicant data, and ensuring all information is current and reliable.
- Leverage Tools Like Apollo.io for Fundraising Efforts: Utilize Apollo.io and similar tools to enhance fundraising efforts. This includes identifying potential investors/donors, streamlining outreach processes, and analyzing data to inform strategies.
- Work with the Managing Partners to Manage Fundraising Pipeline: Collaborate closely with the Managing Partners to effectively manage and optimize the fundraising pipeline. Contribute to strategy development and execution to meet fundraising goals.
- Assist with Other Tasks Related to Fund and Incubator: Write drafts of monthly newsletters, coordinate travel for incubator participants, help plan in-person events, send payments, and assist with other administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar sales or fundraising role.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, and proficiency in using tools like Apollo.io.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for climate technology and a commitment to advancing environmental sustainability.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong proficiency in English with excellent written communication skills.
